Critic is what we're waiting for, without it can nobody progress.

Yeah thats a good attitude, i think the same way!
Unfortunately we make the experience that very less people giving their critics about music that we/you/all produce.
Why??!

yo! I agree!!!
i need much more critics like yours too, actionjetzon!!!! thanx man!!! of course I feel happy, that people love the anfo records and even the amateur view, but these nice feedbacks makes me not producing better music. what i would like to know really, especially from other musicians is, how to improve the accustics i do!!!

...thats what i mean!

The track themselve is cool!, but for me there isn´t enough soundpower/pressure in it. Especially the funky bassline did not come to expression really.
Maybee you´ll try it with more compression and a loundness maximizer running over it or s.th. like that...
I´m not in that SW thing, so i don´t know what you can do.

I´ts allways my "problem", that many tracks sounds to thin and according to much to software for my taste...

peace aj

For my information, what do you exactly call "to much accorded to software" ?

bloodyozy

exactly, the lowfrequency synths are overdriven by the bassdrum. I recorded these unfortunately only virtual analogue 'synthesized' sounds using a fucking cheap behringer mixer whithout any parametric eq. I bought a better one 1 month ago, so i try to maximize the pressure of my sounds in different frequencies. i hope to fix such problems for future releases. I am really sorry about this accustic problem with the amateur view.
But there is no way for me at the moment to do analogue soundsynthesis. I don't have the money for such expensive equipement, and of course I love my mac which would sound quite cool with some additional equipement!!!

peace!

...a lot of tracks does not have that analogue feeling...- thats what electronic music make so interesting to me!!!...- !machine power!

Many of that SW stuff coming out sounds thin, not warm enough...and...i don´t know!? Maybee a bit noisy and scratchy...
It´s hard to describe...i only use hardware, and in many productions it is noticeable to me...

That does not mean that the music is autmatically crap or sounds shite...but for my taste is there lot of stuff coming out which isn´t really good of sound quality!

maybee you can better understand my position when you read that thread *'laptop music'...where are things heading?* in the central..

cheers

Yeah Ozzy,
the mixture of soft and hard gear is the best i think!
