Any views?
I went to see it on friday. It was good, but not excellent. Some of the performances were class tho. Coogan did quite a good job i thought, bringing out the alan partridge of tony wilson. that boy who played peter hook was terrible, and bez was pretty shit too, but apart from that all the castin was great, especially ian curtis.
i found the style of it a bit annoying, pretentious, with all it's silly graphics and postmodern talkin to camera nonsense. also there was a bit where the tony wilson character said that it wasn't about him, it was about the people who made the music etc. well i think that was a lie, it was about him.
still overall it was v entertaining and i think captured the spirit of factory nicely.
it was great to see the documentary last night right after seeing the film. although sad to see how close to death sean ryder seems.
