i think most of their stuff is just silly cover versions done in a really twisted fucked up electronic style. they did that aphex twin benefit thing, and do silly covers of pop songs etc.

don't know too much about them but everything i've heard seemed to have a novelty edge to it.

pictures (http://brainwashed.com/vvm/livebrightonpic.htm)

There are these two persons only playing popular music - manipulated very much - and then they act like they are singing in the song!! With those costumes and pigheads!!! hahahaha

Well, it´s hard to explain - but it sounded sooooo wicked!!! damn!

only using somekind of a computer running some nasty efxplugins.. and this pioneer cd-"turntable" and a lot of cdr´s----

ahaa... animal night train already got it!

and they should have released a lot of rec´s?

well a lot of their releases are crap, but there's some definite gold nuggets there too - really like the version of madonna's music that was released a few years ago, and I've got this weird 7" that came with a homemade x-mas card with a pic of a dead turkey on it that was pure class...a lot of the records have this short-lived kind of "haha" effect that wears off for me while I'm still standing in the record shop, such as their victoria beckham or gary glitter reworks.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing them live though I'd imagine that it'd be quite entertaining!

so far i haven't heard anything too good from them. they had a 2 miniCD release that was a mock of aphex twin called something like Help RDJ! We don't care cause you don't give a fuck... the tracks basically sounded like they played i care because you do through some heavy distortion and stuttered the tracks, but i was not impressed at all.

ovv... plz let me know where and when... !!

yeah, they also played Bowie´s "Lady in red".. it sounded pretty cool!! the track was stretched down and sounded very dark... ;)
Sophie Ellies Bextor was cut up into 1000 pieces and placed together - which also was damn nice!! ..

I think I gotta put up that madonna remix somewhere - although I think it's not even by v/vm but rather skaatter, only to be released by v/vm...
