did anybody catch the wire interview with mathew herbert?
interesting outspoken politics right in the middle of the dixie chicks downfall, - safer in uk than texas?

yes i saw it

1. matthew herbert is well known for his views
2. obviously he's an experimental musician with nowhere like the popularity of the dixie chicks so i hardly think they are comparable..
3. he's probably had his phone tapped for years anyway.
4. the wire is a niche publication which probably sells a miniscule amount in the US , which is clearly the only place that is going to give a serious shit about people expressing anti-war, anti-globalisation etc views

i agree with point four..
he's a great inovator and he modest bout it too.. but he 'politically' stance was slightly outta point in the wire, but i like the way the portray the interviews, they move with a flow, and the question asker is always well informed & discribtive. it's like its overlooked by the editor.
