hmm 15 british pounds for one record... not cheap, much more than normally in a record shop... ok, they're rare...

i got scan 1,3,8 and subvoice 15 (subhead) for completely 60 euro (including shipping costs) from exotec records in spain... but they were the last one's there, 1,5 years ago...

cubik2
29th April 2003, 09:41
nope scan001-003 aren't cheap but there are what you would pay in a specialist shop like sonic groove....and they are a damn site cheaper than ebay.

the rest of the back catalogue is less than a record shop would charge so i think its fair.

cubik2
29th April 2003, 09:42
there are 2 scan 001s left....must have been an error on the shop...

Yeah, 15 nicker is about right - I picked up copies of Inhabit the Machines and M-Cap on Peacefrog at Xmas, they were £15 each and they looked considerably secondhand - although the vinyl looked hardly played (some people have no taste)...

they sound old to me too, but i am not a sucker for shiny newness. i buy mostly music from the first half of the 90s at the moment.

i've been going through my record collection. i think i have a handful of records which may be of interest to forum members, but i have no idea how widely available they are or their current "market value".

if i were to post details of these records up here, would that be viewed as innapropriate...or spam?

Ruben A

AJ - that´s my words too.. don´t know why!?? But those oldies really is something special - so I´m fighting the kidz at EBAY to get all of them... instead of buying new stuff... (ofcourse some new tunes is interesting - but its getting too complicated today?? I prefer the old school way - that´s for sure!)

I bought inhabitance of the mashies for £40 about 3 years ago. Very harsh but very worth it, I’ve spent £40 on worse things. Anyone know where I can get General Arrepientase on vinyl from, this is my favorite track ever, but I cant find it anywhere.

if you're lucky you can get it really cheap on Ebay ; )

well, you can find it in every record store, which has got a well-sorted tresor-backstock. "general arrepientase" just wasn't released on the vinyl-edition of "busca invisibles", but as a separate 12". should be quite easy to get.

ok...these are the records i think will be of interest to some forum members:
Neil Landstrumm - m-cap EP on Peacefrog
if someone wants it you can make me an offer. i don't want to hold an auction for it, but if you lot want to fight it out that's up to you. £10+postage or something will do me.

i also have
Justin Berkovi - So Many Blurry Ceilings EP (Solid 08) this one is a white label
Cristian Vogel - 'Artists In Charge Of Expert Systems' (Mosquito MSQ 003)
Cristian Vogel - 'Two Fat Downloads 88' (Primevil PRVL001) i think i have the title correct, it's hard to read. you will i am sure be pleased to know there is an adam beyer mix on this.
i don't know how much, if anything, these 3 are worth, perhaps you lot can help me out with these. for all i know they are in the front racks at hmv. i'm not out to rip anyone off but obviously i'd like to get what they're worth. as with cubik, i'd rather they go to someone who's obsessed enough to hang around here for months than sell it on eBay. nobody ever bids on my eBay auctions anyway, so far.

i think that somewhere i also have copies of a Justin Berkovi EP called 01273 Predicaments on Force Inc and a Tobias Schmidt EP on a US label called Telepathic from 1995. i will have to check these as they may already have been taken by my thieving friends.

btw all of these are in good condition. in fact apart from the m-cap and Schmidt EP, they have only been played once or twice since i got them. the other two may have some finger marks or something but will play perfectly. the Landstrumm EP even still has the original flimsy shrink wrap on it.

PM me if you're interested in the Landstrumm. for the others, i'd be interested to see what you lot think they are worth, but offers are welcome, from £4+postage up. of course, if they are worth much more than that...make appropriate offers.

@ stype

I live in Leicester where record shops refuse to sell techno music, and they have probably never even heard of tresor. I’ve been looking for it on ebay for weeks and have not seen it. Can you recommend any online stores that might have it, sonicgroove or juno haven’t.
