Agenda:

In light of the recent stupidity, some i admit by myself and others. i have decided to call a crisis meeting.

All ideas on how we can progress in the future are welcomed.

I might not have been here for very long, but I think the best solution would be for everyone to take a step back. Try not to be antagonised by other peoples comments. It's easy to respond with sarcasm, but this isn't easy to interpret when the words are typed and not spoken.

Whilst it may start out as a joke, idle comments can often descend into insults and name calling; both of which not only make the users seem childish, but also make the forum seem like a place where people are constantly bickering.

It's very easy to get drawn into pointless arguments (and i speak from experience) but we all need to make a concious effort not to be drawn in by someone elses ill informed comments.

The crisis is such that it seems to be splitting this forum into 2 camps: the haves and the have nots. Personally, I don't want to be part of either camp. I'm not going to sit on the fence as such, but neither am I going to affiliate myself with any one specific sub-group within the forum as I believe this leads to more fractures within the community.

Clashes of personalities will always exist, this is something that cannot be denied. What you have to ask is: 'how will you let that clash effect you?'

Some very sound advice was offered by another member in a previous post. If someone makes a comment that get's you wound up, don't respond for 10 minutes, or at least until you have had the opportunity to calm down a bit.

We all need to take heed of this.
