I really hope they lose this case. More for comedy value than anything else.

i kind of wish the case had never been brought. they're bound to lose, and when they do, there's an instant layer of credibility. they'll be anti-establishment martyrs, censured by the thought police, victims of the fascist pc brigade

it could compromise them and cause them to splinter though

aye, into at least one group of hardfaced ultraright bastards, probably more than willing to dive headlong into the kind of 'direct action' some far right campaigns are threatening

at least while the bnp are a 'legitimate' political party, they and their active supporters have to keep their heads down a bit

hardfaced ultraright bastards aren't created... they exist already, they don't get persuaded into 'direct action' by video nasties either.

they do already exist, but at least the ones lurking within the structures of the bnp have to play fair as long as they belong to a party with mainstream political ambitions. scupper those ambitions and all bets are off

what like how hitler was allowed to become chancellor so that he would be kept overground?

maybe if you all joined the bnp, then you could try and change it from the inside. that's the beauty of politics.

I really like the idea of EVERY brown-skinned person in the country joining til they outnumber them thousands to one :)

chortle

but the nazi party were pretty anti-establishment, don't forget. they were seen as agitators. hitler wound up doing time for his involvement in the party, just a few years before he was elected

not that this is the same, but when you try to censure political movements, you run the risk of galvanising the more radical elements

That's kind of racist too. What about caucasian people going back to uk from vacations in Spain?

Oh, wait.... their skin is red....
