I just heard a rumour that cristian is about to launch a "fame acadamy" of sorts. which im guessing is like a talent show and the winner gets signed to no future records. i cant wait. is this true??!!??!?!?!:!?W!?

Well 'Fame Academy' wouldn't really be the right phrase would it...

if it was that, we'd all have to live around at Cristian's. Each week he would have to chuck the person who has annoyed him the most/spilt coffee on his mixing desk/filled the hard drive on his Mac up with porno out - until only one of us is left...

I'm sure this would probably result in Cristan having to get up in the middle of the night and murdering us all, hmmm, sometime about Day 3 I reckon... :-)

<li>the track is uploaded in to a special folder</li>
<li>A poll is held on the board to narrow the selection down to ten</li>

constraints are good. like doing a project that has to fit on a floppy disk. rather than a cd-rom, it means you cant cram it with video and shit..it also will be interesting to hear people take on the sounds provided.

it's not that samples aren't cool to work with...it's the thought of being given the samples to make the sounds with.
i can see how such a strategy can work, i was just expressing distaste at the constraint of not choosing one's own samples

thanks mux, id appreciate that, but id rather do it myself, and maybe ask you for some help with some of the back end programming that has me stumped. i have like 5 websites, but no money to host it with. since my major in school is web devolpment and im trying to do more and more devolping id liek to get as familair with it as possible and im getting out of school in a couple of months and id better have my shit together. but hey i do need some help in javascripting. i have a couple huge books and things in mind but having trouble doing the whole thing,and with the payment thing have havent had e- commerce yet. but soon i think. anyways thanks again

sorry but im basic when it comes to jacascripting.. can only handle plug and play. but if needed i can actionscript a bit and learning to load xml's and other databaseing into flash.. very damn usefull when seeen in action... you can have whole flash sites updated from a basic submit box
im 200% self taught... we dont have those kinda studies over here
