11 hour wait in Dubai airport... yaawnn..

Well it's pretty comfy, but it's like the ultimate consumer hell. Dubai seems to be fucking revolting.

i might try having some public sex to spice things up, or snort some poppy seeds off a bun.

i keep hearing at the moment about people spending hours in dubai waiting for flight connections. do you think it's a desperate bid to revitalise the flagging inward investment? look at all the tourists! spending money!

You could spend your time reading this. It is well dark side, almost like something out of a Brett Easton Ellis novel.

actually it was alright (we knew it was gonna happen obviously), I made some music and I think it actually helped with the jet-lag splitting the flights up.

Dubai looks fucking grim and the airport is all bling.. bizarrely it was full of daily mail types waiting to go home who still looked horrified to be surrounded by a-rabs after their 2 week holidays there. Whispering and pointing and shaking their heads and making you proud to be british.

Not been to Dubai but stopped off in Qatar before, and I'm going to Abu Dhabi this week... those places are truly JG Ballard's vision of the future...
