I think that this is acceptable etiquette, especially if they ARE PLAYING MY SONG.

I've been in a club when a mate's tune has come on and the same friend has asked me, 'what's this? it's brilliant!'

can we get the back-story to this Weezer? I assume you're taking about Push The Button by The Sugar Babes

they were playing Frank Sinatra - New York, New York. I don't know what pencilneck is on about. I should've been fistpunching the air and making baboon noises.

I will have you know that it IS my song, and I love it so much that I have used it in not one (http://www.pltnm.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10679), but two mixes (http://www.no-future.com/erutufon/showthread.php?t=23051&highlight=badtaste) over the years. and no amount of human-faced korean fish youtubes will change this.

Hehe, similar vibes when Surgeon played substance, I had to point out to Smear that the big grinding electricity sound eminating from the speakers was from our new EP, don't think there was much shouting going on, I was far too stoned and trying to avoid eye contact with an ex girlfriend at the time.
Shouting 'yeah Bitch' in bars up here is a good way to get.
1. Thrown out.
2. Battered.
Unless you look like a pug dog with multiple battle scars and tatoos which say 'I f@cked your sister', in which case I believe the response is 'carry on sir'.

haha, i love the reponse:
"hmm... There are two big questions:
1) where do you get these records and
2) WHY IN HEAVENS NAME do you buy them?? :D
But seriously, i liked/hated the first mix, and this is even better/worse..."

I should do a part 5. Part 4 is already a thunderdome style megamix of parts 1-4, I could make part 5 the prequel.

This woman is to be feared ;) She once squared up to the head of Security at the Vaults (where sativa used to be - not nice people running that door) with a pool ball and an ashtray. - she's only around 4/5 ft tall - he backed down after being threatened with a good shooting.
Force of nature ;)

I played one of Ed DMX's tunes once when he was there. And I mixed it really badly. The shame.

did he punch you for messing it up?
Loz
31st March 2009, 20:46
no, he pretended not to notice
I'd done the exact same mix before, and when you pull it off, it sounds brilliant
but I was a bit drunk, and there weren't any monitors, so couldn't really hear the mix, and hence, it fucked up.

You always have to go and spoil a perfectly good sentence by using that one word too many, Loz.

yeah sure, why not. especially if i am drunk.
great tunes you like and the dj is like synced with your
brain at the evening. couldnīt be better.
and a little shout here and there, why not?
wouldnīt scream like that to something iīve produced.
that would be strange. why?
