more than 5 years ago i heard the above 12" on the beloved mosquito label and am curious now to find out the artists/tracks that featured on it. there was one track which was quite filthy for its time.......i'd love to know so i can either purchase or download....

I don't really remember who Steve Paton was! - this EP came about as some kind of weird swap with Russ Gabriel and Ferox when he was making techno - I think it was some strange swap against the Blue Arsed Fly EP , In The Bag , the Neil L and I released on Ferox back in the day .... But , yes , I am still very into the track I released on MSQ005 , To Remind You of You ... it still sounds fresh! - and Si's Dirtweed still KICKS in the clubs!

Yeah Dirt Weed is cool but makes you burn out and get a headache too.
It's good for brownies :)

Unfortunately I never find Mosq records here, its a sad life in southern California, all I have is sunny weather and beautiful girls running around in tight clothes. :)

i think steve paton puts out stuff on the Pure Plastic label.
someone once showed me their copy of Fresh As You Fuckin' Like and i was so tempted to just grab it out of his hands and run. the guy wasn't even a techno jock. a house head from Dallas, TX.

Two tracks from Mos 5 - Vogel's and Begg's - are on that Mosquito compilation CD on Warp records. A fvier - you can buy it from warpmart.com.

I found it in a small record shop in France....it was in the second hand section, so I only payed a few euro's. Lucky me :)
