i was in shock by this a couple of minutes ago..

if this is gonna get common i suggest that we all turn off their browser if they aint reading and typing ( or maybe we can get officially timedout from the server? )
or maybe guest mode can be turned off? or woud that cause more problems? just can we all stop using invisible mode? woulda invisible user still count as a 'session'?

Dont wanna be a prick by posting this, but maybe we can sort a set of un-strict rules that we could all benefit from

Sessions do time out, thats why you get an option to log on and have it remember your log in details in cookies so you don't have to type it in again.

The error message is most likely the cause of heavy use and the server chundering molten lava, as said in cristian's thread macro's cause heavy use because everytime someone visits that page it has to load 20x50k macro's which mounts up fairly quickly considering if you upload your file to the server thats eating in the no-future bandwidth heavily.

There is also other stuff which can effect the performance, like CPU intensive searches of the forums, which get worse over time as the number of threads increases if they aren't pruned regularly.

Most likely it's just a one off thing and isn't going to happen again any time soon.
