Can't remember if it was him or Peter Firmin I saw being interviewed a couple of years ago, but he came across as a right dickhead. Really self-important about how his genius had shaped everyone's childhood.

Yeah, the programmes were brilliant and all, but there is something about talking about how great you are and the brilliant things you did that I find incredibly disagreeable. You should be, if anything, slightly ashamed or at the very least humble, about your achievements. It's the British way.
