I'm pretty sure you can listen to it online from www.bbc.co.uk/radio1 and they usually archive it for a week or so

G. any chance of doing it up as a MP3?

MUX
17th April 2003, 11:28
yeah yeah, just a one day offer for the boys.. come'on
i got soundforge 5.5 installed.. can i do it with that?

penciLneck
17th April 2003, 11:33
I dunno - I may be just being incredibly silly, it could be highly illegal doing an mp3 of it. oo er.

decadnids
17th April 2003, 11:43
they recorded it on tape - so the quality aint great, and at the moment I havn't got time to encode it . sorry people.

Lady E
17th April 2003, 11:43
i fell asleep and missed it. dang.

err - i dont know the illegality of uploading radio sessions as mp3.

maybe wheezer knows?

penciLneck
17th April 2003, 11:54
guess its a quality issue - also I've seen a lot of you guys have bootlegs of live sets on the public ftp, maybe it is ok...

MUX
17th April 2003, 11:56
ill find a way... illegal only makes it more fun

wheezer
17th April 2003, 12:09
basically we've been saying that recordings of performances are alright, since they do fall into a gray area to some extent and in this case in particular I guess it should be no prob to at least get consent from some/all of the artists involved?

gunjack

shut your mouths and do what you gotta do boys. radio + mp3 = SHHHHHH.......

ischo
17th April 2003, 12:19

dirtyho
17th April 2003, 12:53
I recorded it off the radio onto minidisc so i've got a pretty good quality copy. No time at the moment but I'll MP3 it at some point. Who hosts the ftp? Its up to them really whats posted - I think stuff recorded off the radio is kind of a grey area - not sure though.

MUX
17th April 2003, 12:59
yes yes.. its a whiter shade of grey area..
uknow... hehehe

gunjack
17th April 2003, 13:00

penciLneck
17th April 2003, 13:44
