i do that when i'm playin in germany
i dont put on the comedy accent like mclaren, but i do limit my dialect a lot
i can't speak german so when i'm faced with germans with limited english i do fall into talking with the same type of english and intonation as them to hopefully make it easier for them to understand me

euromainlanders tend not to be able to understand me if i talk to them with my full lancashire dialect
