Music machines are friends that I can beat and hurt and they still come back to play everyday. They keep taking my money though.

In all seriousness, it is a channel of brain functions that is immediately therapeutic and entertaining and just like the Love Boat "exciting and new" all the time. I get a lot of joy from consistantly building on previous knowledge about the studio and gear while always trying to figure out new ways manipulate audio and shake my butt to the speakers.


oh, it's good for REALLY annoying the neighbors at 4 am too.

im creative beacuse i have this deep rooted need for satisfaction. and my avenues have always been art and stuff so my attempts really havent brought any satisfaction only complicated desire for something better. getting better, getting better. thats what its all about, getting better. its acually hurts sometimes, cus thats all i think about. and recently ive taken a slight break for a week without writing music and just maybe doing some graphics again, and now that im back at the computer, its painfull, and disruptive, because im wrting shity and doing complete bullshit............i hate that, you drop something for one second and come back thinking it might have done some good to take a break, but no.................all it does is makes you feel more behind, and no i feel i have to work twice as hard. so here the climb back up the rollercoaster of creativity for me....................

After being creative for a long time i quit a cuple of years ago. Before that i had experimented with both music (electronic) and visual art (grafitti and klotter). Now I´ve started with music again, and right now it feels great, I can go all day at work thinking about what to do with that troublesome track or what´s not right with that sound. I didn´t feel that way before havin a "break" from creativity, so I think it was good for me. Right now I cant wait to finish (yeah right, like thats going to happen) a couple of tunes to share with you all on the board.
