The only reason i can see for not choosing something with an element of the absurd is if you were worried about disturbing kids.

So the residents stuff would be a very good source. other possible sources would be,
wild man fischer,
nurse with wound,
stock, hausen and walkman - "organ transplants 1&2",
first ZNR album,
maybe a sun ra track like "rocket number 9 take off for the planet venus"

Heiko Laux - Sensefiction (Golden Dawn remix by Johannes Heil)

I bought it about 5 minutes before i found out my grandfather had died last year. So it reminds me of him too...it's a rather uplifting melodic techno track.

Oh, I'd probably also have "It's A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.

If I were to pop now I'd probably go for "After Hours" by the velvet undeground, but then I don't really give a fuck what happens to me when I die, and thinking of this shit shows that even when we are dead we still have hopes for our ego's. Speaking of hopes, I'm really enjoying Doris Day at the moment, so if she could stretch her skin a bit, maybe I'd let her sing at my funeral.

2 Cristian Vogel - La Isla Piscola

This would be the actual Tracklist for my funeral. But i hope that there will be many records be released until that happens. So the list could change.
