The past few hours I've done a lot of hard thinking about what happened. I want you to know that everything that I'm about to say is coming from the bottom of my heart. I know that it will be very difficult for you to accept my apology, but I want you to think about our friendship as well.

The main reason I decided to write you this letter is because our friendship is too valuable to lose over a silly argument. I feel that I could have handled the situation in a better way, but you never gave me a chance to speak. I hope this letter will give us both a chance to understand one another better.

I admit that I was wrong for telling you that i was going to kill you, but the reason for that is I did not agree with what you were saying. I want you to know that I am very sorry and this is a special letter from me to you, saying that I Love You! I think that I have made the right decision. Please write me back.

But whats really funny is how fragile these's people's ego's are, Phil's obviously just having a tiny joke not even originally at anyones expense, then they start up a hate thread and sound like they wanna tar n feather the poor guy. Duh, did their sense of humour get surgically removed?

pencilneck - as you arent often here, and turned up as phil's friend, your opinion is not really important to most people. phil regularly pisses people off. it may be his sense of humour but many people on this board dont appreciate it.

i agree people DO overreact - phil is also one of those people. he cannot take any abuse but expects people to put up with his shit all the time.

i have to say i quite like him SOME of the time. As admin im trying not to capitulate to the requests to ban him. if the people who have been pissed off with phil for the past few months want to ignore him then that is their business, and has been building up since january. people on this board are genuinely fed up with him and have tried to accomodate him.

if phil could have written a sincere apology here we might have moved forward but this snide crap is typical.

its fine to be 'funny' and cynical and pisstaking but for a message baord to work people have to try to get on - when phil does he can be really cool and genuinely funny. when its just insults and tedious reworkings of the 'im on warp' and various other lies, its depressing. i feel genuinely pissed off at the amount of hours i have spent trying to deal with phil so that he doesnt end up driving away the people that have supported this board for years...
he doesnt care that this is a really international board and chelmsford 'humour' isnt going to go down well OR BE UNDERSTOOD all the time. its like having a persistent vandal in your youth club, who wants to call german people nazis and think they will find that hilarious - and whilst i would miss him when he's being nice, a lot of the people here despise him and see no value in his presence on this board.

its a tough one. so we'll see how it goes. but i dont have time or energy for this shit anymore so im asking phil to stop being abusive. i guess a lot of people are ignoring him anyway, that is UP TO THEM, they are trying to be reasonable.
