Kenny Dixon Jr., a good friend of UR and one of Detroits most talented, spiritual and humblest producers is getting blatantly ripped off of 2 of his very rare records. They are being blatantly bootlegged and this is occurring somewhere in London.

We need your assistance in rectifying this situation. Kenny, or none of us can afford to let people rip off our records. We don't sell enough to have motherfucka's stealing.

So once again we call on you - our invisible arm to lay down a "Shock and Awe" program on this "rogue" criminal who is hiding shit from our sonic inspectors - know what I'm sayin'?

The same is happening with the Theo Parrish Ugly Edits. I can't complain as I got myself a copy of all these to play out as the originals were hard to come by outside of Detroit. I never had the KDJ tracks and it is nice to have the two on the same rec, although I notice that the original Amp Dog Night rec is out again.

that's the principal. obviously it's fucked-up & i'm not saying he deserves it for being so exclusive. small record companies with little cash can't afford to have unsold stock sitting around. however, detroit stuff like kdj and theo p always sells out really quickly. maybe they don't realise they could sell about twice the amount of copies they do.
ugly edits is a copyright violation in itself - probably why it was so limited in the first place.

shit mike, why dont you just tell him to sell his records individually on ebay by ones. from what i saw, and i dont know if people paid they bills for auctions, some dude shoulda made bout 2 grand off only a handfull of early kdj records last year.
