Kind of fragmented...not knowing where anyone was most of the time... missed a few sets i'd wanted to catch.. Cristian and Ben Pest slammed it.. was definately a highlight for me, with an impromptu number at the end with cristian's wife that just rocked.. really positive set, crowd loving it and a VERY lively and smiley performance from the musicians.. could really see they were all enjoying themselves..
Karl Bartos was excellent.. a real gent and amazing to see and hear him and his right hand man (who WAS meatloaf).
The weather was abysmal which added to the bosnian estate vibe of it all..
Luke ('s anger) totally smashed it on friday/sat morning giving some much needed welly to the music, saw a bit of juan atkins.. didn't think it was anything too amazing, Simon Dexorcist's acid house/oldies set was excellent..i thought in general the sunday had the most relaxed vibe, being a kind of 'bonus' day.. criminally, i missed jason leach's set which i heard dropped jaws amongst the 'rum-diddy-oom-diddy' straight techno heads. lots of casualties, people being carried away by bouncers who i thought apart from a couple were pretty cool..As with the last bloc, it was great to see the 'uk scene' coming together with promoters and crews from absolutely everywhere in attendance and having a right good knees up.. 400 strong irish massive in the house keeping the vibe alive .. hmm, i might be rambling now but all in all.. bloody good show and nice to see all the nofuturers there.. -)

Best thing there was defo the black e. So good to see something that wasnt a bobbing head behind a laptop looking oh so serious for a change. Proper live feel to it. jason leach on that soundsystem was beastly. Red snapper didnt dissapoint either, although why some guy decided to play the bongos during it i dont know. prrick. Good to meet some folk too, sorry for saying you are 12 kams haha.

Highlights for me were Monolake (top fucking banana), Convextion, Black E, George 'BLOC' Hull (need to get some IDs off of you mate!), Warlock, Listening to tons of unreleased Weegee shiznit (Hudson Mohawke, Rustie etc) at the 'chalet' of Wireblock/Numbers/Lucky Me crew, Seeing loads of peeps I hadn't seen in ages, meeting new ones, and Real Life Mario Kart.

Lowlights were mugging off the deposit to catch the train back, missing the train anyway, then having to buy a new ticket.

I missed loads that i wanted to see. Lost my laptop for a while which was a bit worrying. Spent too much time touring people chalets and generally avoiding the bleakest weather. When I was out listening to music I spent the majority of my time in the boozer as it had a decent vibe and didn't smell half as bad as the other 2 rooms. Fell asleep in random places a couple of times. Got thrown out of the pub about an hour before my set for sleeping and being fucked and then went and did exactly the same thing after i played.

yeah, he fucked over a lot of people on saturday. How can something so small fuck you up so much? I ended up trapped in the toilet not really knowing what was going on, and had to be rescued. I actually had to ask whether or not I'd shat and pissed myself, because I simply didn't know. Thankfully, I hadn't. Then the chalet next to us got raided by the police, with everyone in our chalet shitting themselves, and me not being able to move very well. Not what I needed. Thankfully it all went well in the end.

We also got sniffer dogged on the way in, which was the most stressful 15 minutes of my life. Then a few hours later, Coleman, edit, emef and myself were talking about it, and two security guards appeared on the walkway above us, saying "do you have any drugs on you, mate?" Edit didn't believe they were real security guards, so started taking the piss, and the security guard said to me "I remember you, I sent you into the dogs." Without thinking I shouted back "year, the dogs were shit" and he suddenly went all serious and said "I can come back and search your chalet, you know." Cue a few seconds of panic, and the other security guard suddenly pipes up "yeah, we heard that, too."

Nice to have so many people back at our chalet for chilling out, too. I reckon the music and fairy lights in the window drew many rave casualties to us, simply because it was so easy to find. It certainly helped me when I was too spangled to see properly.

Highlighs musically were definitely Black E, absolutely killed it. Don't think I've danced so hard for a long time. Karl Bartos started off a bit weak, I thought, but really got into it after a few minutes. Played a proper wonky tune at some point too. It was nice to hear him saying "thank you for dancing to our music. It really makes us think about it in a whole new way." He's obviously used to chinstrokers. I missed loads of stuff like Dexorcist and Jerome which I wanted to see, but caught a few random things which were really cool. The last set of the weekend was really cool, although my heels were killing me by then, so I sneaked backstage for a bit of a sit down.

Met loads of people, sadly most of them very briefly. Probably met more people than I remember, too. A few people didn't recognise me on the sunday, which was quite funny. I was talking to this one guy for about 10 minutes before he asked me who I was.

Of course, I'm paying for all that fun now. I was supposed to be at work at 7:30 this morning. I woke up about an hour ago. I still feel really quite muddled.
