I beat you all. I got to see Mark Hawkins do a live PA. After hearing ihs DJ set from the Seti Automatic webpage I was dissapointed that he was doing a live PA rather than a DJ set as that DJ set played the exact sort of shit I wanted to hear in the same sense of timing that agrees with me.

However his live PA blows the utter fucking shit out of everything else I've heard frankly. He played the crowd like a goat milking the udders of it's cow, I stared him down the eye mantya time trying to predictwhen he'd thrown the beat back in. It was the definition of the dgos bollocks.

Jerome Hill's set was also spectaculraly special, featuring a clinicla precision dropping of many big beat tracks it really did set the place on fire.


I really fail to see how nights get much better than last night. big up to the gentleman who made it happen, it will be well rmember here for quite some time.

sonds like a top night. i ended up getting very drunk with my sis and flatmate to celebrate me finally getting (sorta...its a long term temp thing) a job doing exactly what i wanted to do! :) a very fun night as well, even if we never managed to leave my flat.

I went to a fantastic gig of colombian band. 9 people on stage -most of them over 50 years old and still banging- playing fantastic tunes.marimbas, congas, xylophone, trumpets and other instruments I don't know the names of, made it into a fantastic night.music is the answer!!

i went to an amazing show last night. a band called "angels of light" (michael gira from swans) were playing. absolutely fucking amazing. i can't say i've ever heard someone bleed through their guitar before... now i can. i highly recommend these guys. it really hits you where it counts.
