Saw him DJ a few months ago for free in a Dublin pub. It was so good to hear those slow grooves at a ridiculous volume. You could say that it was an ear-opener.:)

i saw him in kennedy's a few years back, was pretty great. i'd like to see him and ron trent doing one of their back to backs. having seen them both individually i reckon it'd be alot of fun.

I like the Sun Ra Detroit vibe going on there too.

Is that some sort of Adidas advert? Halfway though I noticed they had a close up on the Superstars that he's wearing and then it ends with that logo?

Still nice, made me feel all warm even if Detroit is the home of OCP!

they seem to be doin good in this clip anyway. saw him with rick wilhite last year, and once at the electric chair, and once at an electric souls party. The electric souls party was the best, a very small room so everyone was crammed up against him. Really impressed some people that wouldn't usually give disco the time of day, loud as fuck too with those peaky filters he uses djing.

yeah, i saw the adidas logo at the end alright. just did a search on the web and found some info on it here (http://creativity-online.com/?action=news:article&newsId=125039&sectionName=behind_the_work). i suppose that explains the slickness of it.

@lt - that looks rowdy!

mmm my ears hurt after the electric souls. there was a really good full length video of him djing at demf about 6-7 years ago. can't find it anywhere, but he played a really good set with loads of good tracks.

he was really good djing, think he played a lot of nice old warm chicago house stuff like virgo/jungle wonz/trax type stuff. hard to say who was playing what as they kept rotating, think theo parrish was the best though.

they all were good but let down by the bad acoustics in the boddington warehouse.

I reckon he has a thing for stupid-loud volume, thankfully when I saw him the system was ok even though it was in a pub.
