Hello everyone on the forum. Found your little hang-out (dungeon?) today and was happy to see there are people who like to discuss music besides myself.
So here´s my story. 1.5-2 years ago I used to DJ techno once in a while, not professionally, just for fun, in my hometown in Sweden. I thenm moved to Stockholm and left my records 600 km behind and got rid of my dj-setup. Basically I had gotten bored of electronic music and especially techno. I still listened to a couple of artists wich I still found interessting (Cristian V, Surgeon to name but a few), but they were too few to keep my interest alive. So after buying two studiomonitors for my small but ok bedroom studio basically to get me interessted in musicmaking again, I started looking for new interessting electronic music. But searching in recordstores and on the internet I haven´t found anything that surprised or fascinated me.

So my question to you is: Have I missed anything in the last 1,5-2 years and if so what?

Tankfull for all replies and thoughts

Super Collider's RAW DIGITS album and tour. A superbly soulful synthesis of sound combined with thought provoking lyrics, from the creative wellspring of Jamie Lidell, and Cristian Vogel, with guest appearance from Matthew Herbert on bass keyboard, and guitar sourcefiles from Mike Brooke

The Super_Collider Live Tour showcased the combined talents of Lidell and Vogel, along with talented Stephenson, and drummers Mat Yee-King,bassist James and Grant (o crikey - can't remember his surname!)_...

Astoundingly, their stage presence was as good if not better as their studio production. Live performances were supported by the wild visual genius of Pablo Fiasco. Performances such as these (I find), are a rare occurance in these saturated times.
