Anyone know a good free text-to-speech app for winders?

Depends on what you want it for. I use the free online demo version of the big one (forgotten what it's called) for a track. You can feed a sentence at a time into it, and pick the voice character.

yeah shit talker would be great for a comedy happy birthday thing
cylob used the mac inbuilt text to speech thing, if you have a mac it has the exact voice used on rewind and cut the midrange

There's one bundled with XP. In Control Panel --> Speech
iirc you can d/l other voices for it if Microsoft Sam sounds like too much of a cunt.
You can also text the message to a BT landline and record the BT voice.

Shit talker looks good. How do you save?
The version I have just downloaded, has the 'Save' greyed out. Is it not the full thing?
