hi bob
i think most people who watch tv and read newspapers are full to overflowing with the reports of death, destruction, and third-world war, and the justification of war, and this way of thinking must be permeating the thoughts of everyone.
i don't think any of us are immune, however, some people can over-compensate and cease war in their own sphere of influence. others react badly, and become more aggressive in their speech.

the trouble with message boards, is that they allow some degree of familiarity with other members over time, but they also create a platform for people to speak the unspeakable or threaten aggression, without the obvious repurcussions which a face to face conversation would have.

i believe the war is affecting everyone's psyche

it hasn´t got anything to do with the war...fuck it. it just a lame excuse for being sexually frustrated=being angry blah blah

more booze, more drugs and less thinking and everybody would be doing fine...

I certainly don't feel overcome with feelings of hatred. I mean subconciously it might be happening, but to be honest, I feel just like my normal self & am bored of the war.
You might say that this is very selfish of me to not pay much attention to the suffering of others, but I don't mean that. I'm just bored of the media coverage, of the obvious attempts at propaganda in the media & the whole 'Iraq in your living room' perspective.

i am bored&sick of it.and i don´t want it to affect my life in a negative way (as if...), so i just don´t care anymore... it´s useless anyway.
