Anyone know much about renting in Ulm [germany/stutgart]

my folks are moving to germany but finding it difficult to find reasonably priced rentals which aren't unfurnished.

any tips/sites any of you German peeps on the board could reccomend ?

I think in germany it's pretty rare to get Furnished apartments to rent.. you're lucky if there's a kitchen built in there!

so I'm finding, i'm thinking it might be easier for them to ifnd a place in stuttgart and perhaps commute, apparently it's mostly holiday appartments and the likes or student accomadation in ulm.

cheers for confirming tho - I was wondering if that was the norm or not, looks like an expensive bizness.
