GAME : identify a vynil

I bough a vinyl compilation 5 years ago in London. No kind of indication of what it is though, no one single scratch... when I bought it I was told it was a release on Skam... does this pics ring a bell to anyone ??
it's a 3 X 180g vinyl, packed in a plastic transparent inner and outer sleeve...

I had one on Serotonin by Auto Kinetic that was good, it got lost with a bunch of other good records including a rather nice Drop Bass Network collection..

My condolences. Losing records is a very sad affair.
I don't play out that much so haven't had problems but I've got friends who have lost whole cases of stuff they will probably never be able to find again. Too drunk/fucked and then forget it on the bus/taxi is the classic case.

"Shapes": this mysterious limited edition 3 LP vinyl release by Skam had no name or artist associated with it, and the tracks were unnamed; the 6 tracks, one per side of vinyl, were identified only by shapes printed on the vinyl. "Shapes" is an unofficial name assigned to the release, and the tracks are generally given the unofficial names listed here. "rhombus" is sometimes referred to as "trapezoid", since it depends on how you look at the shape.

There was much speculation that this album was by Bola, though this has never officially been confirmed. However, I am indebted to Cicerobuck/Arthur G. Scratch for the following information: in about 1995 or 1996, a tape from Bola was circulating, and it had these tracks on them. As Cicerobuck also points out, the fact that the track "trapezoid" is the same as the Bola track "quinss" on the Vertical Forms album is a bit of a giveaway!

i think it`s ok to have mp3s from vinyl thats rare like that...
i don`t think that paying millions of € (which i don`t have) on ebay is stupid cause the artists don`t get a cent from that money and the people who sell them cause they want a lot of money suck. ;)

well, maud it wasnt that hard for me because i collect everything by SKAM, MASK, & SMAK in mp3 ( im Making a personal well informed library on the Manchester Scene in Full ) i knew right from the picture that it had to be from them ( there vinyls labels look self printed + black & white )
it''s probably worth a fortune ( there generally limited all the way and have even gone down to 100 pieces of a record in the MASK series... )

Are you sure it's not BOC? Shapes kinda lead me that way, plus it's on Skam and BOC put out their original stuff on skam right? Although they have a very distinct sound so it would have been easy to guess that, so maybe it is not BOC after all.
