recently, i've been getting a lift in to work with a mate. radio one on in the car all the time. so, this has caused me to enter one of those phases where i begin to think "hey, some modern pop music is alright actually", when i know this to be a filthy, stinking LIE.

please alert me to some horrible, lowest-common-denominator manufactured dross now so that i might regain my cynicism.

thank you.

Me and my sis were on da road for a few hours yesterday.

I heard that fuckin awful 'Voodoo Child' song about 5 times.

Had no idea it was the bird with the flaring nostrils from 'Neighbours' singing it.

Its one of those rotten tracks that gets stuck in your head for ages.

I would also quite like Reverend and the Makers to die a slow painful death.

I have to listen to the new Ian Brown album today. It's like being given a fucking motivational seminar by a tramp.

"Don't pontificate or contemplate your fate, we're all walking in a dark display, you're gonna get to heaven's gate... you can't go back you've got to get your life on track... see that life is for living so love is for giving, life's no simple situation, there's the added complication that the reason that we're here nobody knows in all creation"
