I saw beck the other night live in melbourne, and it was possibly the greatest show I've ever seen.....the man just oozes style and talent, he had the whole crowd up and dancing in the aisles...he played stuff off every album and the whole thing was just plain 'wow'. I recommend seeing him if he's in your neck of the woods....

Have to agree. I saw him a year ago or so (before his 'singer songwriter' album). Not really my cup of tea, but since he performed in open air, 100 meters from where I live, I had to listen anyway, so I decided to go and have a closer look. Rather impressive indeed, made me think of Prince if only this fromerly known artist had kept up with things. But then the same could be said of Supercollider lol .

yeh, odelay is one of the best albums made in the last 10 years, a lot of people don't like midnite vultures, they think it's overproduced, but I think it was supposed to be that....it's all about excess you know.....hollywood freaks on the hollywood scenes, it's all very funky

hmmm. ive heard odelay enough times, i liked it but then i really like the raw early stuff 'one foot in the grave' and 'stereopathetic soul manure'. maybe ill buy it.

beck always surprises me when i think he's done everything he is capable, then he comes out with a new cool album, and his videos are always niceness.
i think its because he spends most of his time in his garden sucking on oranges.
vitamine c !! = inspiration =)
