Wonderin' if any of the No-Future members from Russian/former Soviet Union can help me with some Russian Names. I'm trying to populate my fictitious former Soviet Republic for this computer game I'm working on with names for shops, houses, parks, blocks of flats etc etc...

...and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers to groups of famous Russian/former soviet names.

I've already done Russian Gymnasts, Composers, Doggie Cosmonausts (my fave).

Any ideas or pointers to websites with inspiration would be greatly appreciated...

ta, Grobs

One things for sure, after my recent trip to poland, they have to be unpronouncable, or at least pronounced copletely differently to the way you thought...

Hey guys this making shit up is a serious business - try and get with the programme yeah! - its not like I'm some techno producer you know - I can't just sit there bashing away at any old buttons, twiddling a few nobs and sliders until it sounds good... :-)

Vanja, why dos it say Farbror vanja.. isn´t vanja a female name... then she answer. nah, in russia it´s a Male name.... [burn] excellent [burns/]
