View Full Version : Why are girls always cold?

Orang Utan
28th May 2007, 22:50
And why do they never dress adequately, since they know they are gonna feel cold, despite being boiling? So you have to lend them a cardie or a jacket which they never remember to give you back? Why? WHY? WHY? WHY?WHY?WHY?

Same reason, when you go "I'm going to the shop/chippie/whatever - do you want something?" they always go "no I'm fine, really", even after you've asked them if they're sure 3 times to be certain, then the moment you come back go "oh that looks nice, can I have a chip? Oh can I get a plate and have a bit of that actually?"

Orang Utan
28th May 2007, 23:07
Oh yeah:
"I'm getting a pizza, do you want one?'
"No, I'll just have a slice of yours'
"I'm hungry though, I want the whole pizza for myself. It's OK, I'll get you a pizza, it's my treat"
"S'ok, I'll just have a little slice of yours"
aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

dunno... maybe get to know some girls that dress and eat properly?

Orang Utan
28th May 2007, 23:14
This seems to almost universal IME. Apart from Northern lasses - they go the other way - eat lots of pie and wear next to nothing in a blizzard

JonnySpeed
28th May 2007, 23:24
'girlie' girls seem to be more interested in fitting a mold where they have certain unform irrespective of the weather and feel guilty having fast food. I wouldn't say that universal... i know loads of women thatare willing to wear jeans, jumpers and coats like normal people and eat the same as everybody else when you get a takeaway.

Quick solution: let them be cold and don't give them any of your takeaway. They might quickly take out jackets with them and order what they want when they are asked.

its not being a bastard, its just not pandering to girlie mentality

yeah, fucking women! doesn't it just make you want to follow them home, stab them 25 times and bury them in a forest somewhere?

Orang Utan
28th May 2007, 23:30
Bollocks, I don't hang around with girly girls as you describe them. I'm talking about normal women who get cold and need a cardy in the middle of June, whatever they are wearing. My point is that they never seem to learn and always have to get a cardy off a bloke

so women are sometimes rational human beings with free will and an aptitude for critical thought... just like men! this one blew my mind, i can tell you. i'm glad we've got such enlightened souls as yourself here to counter these occasional waves of misogyny

I don't know what to say about the coat situation...I usually try to dress accordingly...

except to say it's nice to wear a handsome's man coat that you care for....the smell of him...
it's nice...

as for food...I tend to order and eat my own, but always end up eating some of his too if he's not eating it....

maybe it's a part of what we see true intimate friendship/relationships as being...
what's mine is yours and vice versa..
and it's not thought about or questioned....it just is...

but if it's a random girl acquaintance then I can see how it would be annoying...

JonnySpeed
28th May 2007, 23:48
guess i'm just selective :)

one of my best mate's goes out with a girlie girl who dressing for the destination we are going to and never takes thing like coats with her... she also moans like a cunt constantly about most things and sulks alot. we all hate her and just think she is a bit challenged. All her other girlie mates are just as weird and annoying. They also think that Essex night clubs are classy and blokes 'have really made an effort' when they wear a shirt, smart trousers and shoes after getting their haircut styled like a lesbian. says it all to me.

what I want to know is why I am always hot even if everyone else is bloody freezing. I need to move to finland, but my gf wouldn't follow for orang utan's reason.

Orang Utan

I dunno - I don't understand how you can say you are freezing when it's May.
I can feel a bit nippy around 12 or 13 degrees, but anything more than that, it's a sweater at the very most that you need, certainly not a coat

why can't I find a girl that carries a cow-suit in her purse??

MJimD

Pretty nippy in London today, just how I like it.

As for adsr's penchant for smelly men's coats, I like receiving coats back from favoured chilly girl friends; they smell nice, cheaper than dry cleaning.

Nah, I'm not talking about partners necessarily, just girls in general.
My problem is getting involved with too many girls who I don't really like that much but am too polite/cowardly to turn down. 8-() The only girls I ever want to actively pursue are unavailable. grrrr.

JonnySpeed

one of the things i love about my two best female friends is that they dress normally, eat what they like and go camping, running, boarding and the like without crying they are cold/wet/tired :)

which is to say that you are choosing girls that you know are
unavailable...so perhaps it means you're not really interested in
having that kind of relationship right now w/ anyone...

as for being cowardly...that one trait in a man that I for some reason very much despise..don't care too much about the superficial...money, clothing, car, his ability to supply me a great coat when I'm cold...
what matters is a man who's honest....and doesn't care what others think about it...because it's right..
lately, I've been meeting men that care abit too much about themselves...

anyways..as for your situation..
when you go out w/ a girl, i think you should just be bold and tell the girl when you pick her up..if you're going out w/ me..bring your own coat, don't eat my food, no complaining...and speak only when directly spoken too...
I think that might solve some of your problems..

Orang Utan
29th May 2007, 00:44
What an astounding analysis - I shall take it on board. The next time I go home with a lass, before anything happens, I shall say, 'by the way, you can't have a bit of my pizza and bring your own coat' - that will work wonders!

chocolate at just the right time is the best...
nothing wrong w/ that..:)
I'm going back to a restaurant next week just to have a hugh chocolate
calzone w/ ice cream......chocolate makes life a little better..esp when you miss someone..

also...I've been told I'm like a radiator too!!..
my temp runs a bit higher than 98.6...like at 99/100degrees...
I've only met one other person who's actually warm to the touch
like me...weird....altho when I get cold...I get crazy cold..my legs and feet will ache...

I dunno about the whole coat thing, never met any girls like that, or, tbh, the chips thing. They sound like like they don't have much common sense anyway..

However, I do know this:

Women's feet were designed specifically to sap ALL the heat from a man's feet, especially in bed.

Loz

bwaa, all women get to hot! i usually have to sleep in a little, wake up a little and then try to manoeuvre my stuck body parts and it takes great effort/technique to get them loose... and itīs like a mission, cause you donīt want her to wake up noticing your struggle for cold.

it's biological, women are actually a bit colder than blokes, the blood goes from their extremities at about 2 degrees warmer than in blokes so that's why they always have cold feet and hands

I have told my brother for years that ginger people have 1 less layer of skin than say dark or fair haired people.

Thats why they get lobstered in the sun.

He is a gullible lad...

The reason i am wearing a jacket is because there is sleet and hail falling from the sky where i live....

1) Fashionable blokes are wearing cardies and looking nice in them

2) Im a bit of a fashion victim and would rather freeze half to death than borrow anyone's top, unless it went with my outfit. The weather is very changeable at the moment and also what about those spontaneous days when you end up staying out all day and all night? We females can't predict every eventuality.

hello everyone. its half term.
