Homosexuals' rights to have a family.

Heyho,

Early this morning I was watching a movie on BBC2.

The movie was about a lesbian couple that wanted to have kids.

They considered adopting but they decided that it would be too hard due to prejuduce against homosexual couples.

So they decided to buy sperm and make babies.

So im asking you, do you feel that homosexuals, be it lesbians or gay couples be allowed to have babies whether its by adopting or through using a sperm bank?

im all about " gay " " lesbian " 's having children..............my uncle is gay and has two kids with his partner. and i think its a awesome thing.

but if they are going to adopt, they should have to go throught he same rules as anybody else

yes, if they are proper parents... to be gay is not to be ill.
if you take drug´s etc etc, you can be questioned about being a good parent... as far as i know, homosexuall couples can do a equal good job as hetrocouple.

of course, but how about in school. will the kid´s get teesed ?
well, fat, small, retarded, alkoholic, druged, punks, cheerleader everybody can get mucked in school... in there case it can because of there parents.
but with good faith homosexuall parenting will be more accepted to our world.

Not everyone who breeds chooses to be a parent.
Some of those who don't choose to be parents,
need those who choose to parent, to look after their offspring.
I don't have an opinion on same-sex parenting.
Adoption needs to be made available for all those who cannot/won't breed, but desire family, and whilst it's ironic that these people should be subject to greater tests and checks on their background than your average fast-breeder, it's very necessary.

The child's need to be parented is always greater than the adult's need to parent, and as long as the needs of the child remain top priority, i have no moral dilemma with children being placed with people with a strong want to be parents, whether they are single-sex couples, single men or women, established families, or couples unable to procreate.
