but?...
Didn't you like the music? or do you think its useless to do an anti-war benefit?

i may be wrong here but scottish people often say 'but' at the end of a sentence.

in this case rather than saying 'that place is mad, but i had a good time' its just a different way round

sorry to interpret you yer_maw. im interested to know if im right though.

also marolo - how was the party? did you raise much money?

oh sorry, not familiar with scottish dialect (blush).

yeah, I think quite a lot of money was raised, but it all goes into covering costs for the stop the war coalition, i.e adverts and publicity, and none goes into actually helping victims of the war diretly.

glad to know you had a good time in London yer_maw. I don't think I met you at Kooks but maybe some other time.

thnx emma for clearin that up. yeah marolo thats we always put but at the end of sentences. it all gets confusing wen it reaches "aye but no but" and it can sometimes reach 4 double negataves which is just silly. no i really enjoyed uglyfunk, spent most of my time in the liberator room, which in my state of mind at the time was fantastic. until we got thrown out by the bouncers...
