true story: (cause I'm bored at work)
I went to chinatown in SF and it was a place that we found deep in
china town - and they had no cutlry on the table and I didn't realize this till the food was served....I had the most embarrasing time trying to eat w/ the chopsticks..., till this old chinese lady come out from the back and hands me a fork and kettle of jasmine tea....I felt so embarrassed because I look around me and the hostess and the waitress and cashier were all giggling...
so I think the tea was to make me not feel so embarassed...
The food was unbelieveable awesome...
I've never had better chinese food
than that...since then I've learned to use chopsticks...

From http://idiotica.co.uk/archive/briansewell/images/banner_spoon.gif
#1 - The tea spoon
It is a fool who, when engaged in a debate on the merits of the spoon de thé, starts wringing his hands, looks to high heaven and dismisses this diminutive utensil due to its very lack of size.
To do this is a folly worthy of any cheap French farce.
Just to hold a teaspoon is to love it. Clear, unfussy lines are the order of the day here – the head sits atop the handle with pride and no little conviction. One can use this bright, perfect, stainless bit of beauty to add sweetening goodness to not only one’s tea but also coffee or chocolat chaud.
It is also a godsend when eating that stalwart of the English breakfast table, the humble boiled egg. And you can fit a teaspoon in your waistcoat pocket. And take it to the opera.

I found a spoon with "Hospital Property" stamped into the handle in my kitchen the other day.
I'm disgusted. It's people who steal spoons from hospitals that are responsible for the decline of the NHS.

I like to spoon, but not be spooned....
I think it's cause I read a psy study a long time ago about body language and it stated that you could tell who was in control in a relationship by who was spooning who...the person being spooned is submissive and the person spooning is dominate...side by side touching/hugging means equal partnership....

it means a psychiatrist would probably make a lot of money off you...
by the way..spooning doesn't have anything to do w/ you soley..
it's a study of human dynamics...so if you spoon her...you;re more dominate in the relationship..and vice versa...
oh..and sleeping back to back but touching is also a symbol of equality in the relationship...sleeping w/out touching usually means trouble in the relationship...
don't you just love pop psy...
oh..
