Don't you mean: "I've just HEARD someone use web 2.0 as a verb"
Or were they writing it?

Saying it out loud is 100 times worse than typing it.

It's like accidentally saying lol. I said that in front of my mum once.

Thank fuck it wasn't spoken. If I heard someone saying it I might suddenly remember my forgotten kickboxing skills :(

Found it here: http://www.todaysart.nl/2006/ (top right hand corner)

you are witnessing one of the best part of JAPAN.

As USA had it's Rock & Roll, and Hip Hop culture,
Maybe this geekness is Japanese version of movement.

U'll be amazed what is going on the web.
If they olny spoke better Engrish,
the world would truely understand them.

cheers for the vid.
no, i did not see that before.
this is quite a huge crowd.s
i'm sure they are all strangers from the web.

This is really what I love in the Present JAPAN.

that is awful, I don't think I've ever said lol in my life, I only type it on this board to get the smiley, otherwise I just type "heh" "haha" "hehe" "hahahaha" or whatever, to closely approximate my actual response to what is said.

a mate of mine was chatting to me on msn with one of his boss a few weeks ago, we were all in the same chat, but my mate and his boss were sitting next to each other. His boss typed 'lol' about something I said, and my mate said that he typed that, but other than typing, didn't smile or react in any way to what I'd written.

also, did you pronounce it 'loll' or 'el-oh-el'?

I think it's quite charming the way they all disperse so quickly at the sight of just 2 cops. heeehee-
