View Full Version : a shocking poll...

there was a poll in germany asking about the attitude towards right-wing politics. the result were quite shocking. 37 % out of 50000 asked people think that foreign people come to germany to abuse the welfare state. 39,1 % think that there are too many foreign people in germany. 17,8 % think that jewish people still have a big influence and 13,6% also think that jewish people donīt fit into the german society.

it seems like this racist attitude is embedded in german society. do think results in england, usa or anywhere else would be quite same or is this just a german problem?

I barely blame the people though, than more the phlegmatic integration, educational and social policy we have here since years.....

isnt the same type of ''anti-this and that'' in other countries too though? germany has the stigma of it, so people will notice it more than in other places surely...

Saying that Jews have an big influence isn't anti-semetic

Why else would you go to Germany as a foreigner if it wasn't for a better life which includes welfare support... its not going to be for the food or weather is it?

i would think that 40% thinking there are too many foreigners is probably a baseline for most countries no matter the level of ethnic mix.

Racism is much deeper than these statements. Its also a dumb servey if it doesn't ask some positive questions about the area... it seems set-up to display germany in a bad light.

my translation is shit. sorry.
assuming that jews are still in control of the economy etc. and therefore still have a big influence on society is in my opinion antisemitic.

itīs about foreigners abusing the german welfare system...

of course, see 50000 people out of 80 million is not what i would call representative.

but you hear people talk on the street, on the internet etc. people who donīt call themselves right-wing or who consider themselves liberal, left-wing whatever and who still have racist attitudes, even if they think they donīt have any. it seems like this attitude is deeply embedded in our society. and i just wanted to know if it is the same in other countries, because i talked to someone and he claims that in countries like england or the usa, classic democracy, donīt have this problem.

In Poland old and stupid people blame jews and masons for everything. Even though there are almost no jews in Poland and definitely(?) no masons.

aleks

Why?

because it is one of the prejudices jewish people are connected with throughout their whole history.

...Well..There is some truth in it, is`n t there? And i mean, whats bad about being a wealthy culture...You see, almost ANYTHING you say about jews in germany, you have to be carefull, and bite your lip... Even saying the word "jew" (german "Jude") is controversial....

somebody had to.
so the world could get hysterical about the memory of a guy who's memory is completely distorted and embelished.
then we could fight for the rest of time about who in history could see into the future most bestest... or something...

As for being wealthy culture. That's one of the reasons why in jewish mythology Egypt is an adversary - Egypt was wealthy agricultural country at that time and jews were poor shepherds.

You'd be wrong. We're very tolerant here in the UK. We love pakis, niggers, wops, yids, chinks and towel heads. We welcome them with open arms. Especially our police force. They simply adore ethnic minorities and often stop them in the street for a chat, or pop round to their houses.

..ok....Jews *ducks* are a poor nation...They have non influence in banking affairs, nor they have nuclear weapons. A frequently opressed nation and Israel belongs to them. Surrounded by baddies claiming that it does`nt belong to them..

And germans have racist genes in their blood......:D

no, but saying they don't fit into german society is

these attitudes are not just limited to germany, by a long stretch. the far right is in pretty rude health all over western europe

I'm more concerned about the wigs, bad 80s dresses and white tights. The fasion police needs to have a word.

i was gonna say, i wonder who actually performed the survey. you can phrase questions in a survey to get what ever poll results you want.
to the germans on the board, does it "feel" like those poll results are right to you?

I think the results a bit overhyped...However, in comparison to other countries, racism is quite "hidden" here....But thats my own judgement....I think that you have a good advantage if you can express yourself in the language with the least accent if you look "foreign" ... People have a different approach on you...
