A request for some tips...
I have a reasonably decent hosting deal, which mostly goes to waste, I have a couple of ideas for websites that I'd like to set up, but don't have the technical know how to make them.
In the past a lot of people have advised oh just use this package or that package - the documentation is all included - but typically the documentation isn't idiot proof and beyond me and assumes you are up-to-speed with a whole bunch of packages.
So I need to learn internet tech, so I need some recommendations for books and it needs to break things down into easy steps with examples. Oh and what order to start reading things in - cos I haven't got a clue where to start.
Worth bearing in mind that I'm the sort of person who relishes the fact that iPhoto has an export function that automatically creates really crappy html web galleries...
