the comic is really good, worth a look if you like miller - the artwork is probably the best thing about it, it's all full colour double-page spreads so it's quite epic.

they're doing a shot for shot remake of the comic all on green screen, same as what rodriguez did with sin city - so hopefully the over the top acting fits in as well as it did with sin city. also i hope all that slow motion shit is just the trailer.

there's a hunchback spartan who was hidden by his parents to protect him, he plays a fairly crucial part in the story. it's very much like 'are you being served?' with about 1 million extra persians and some elephants and less clothes.

i usually don't like that kind of movies but i've seen Alexander The Great by Oliver Stone only cause i was curious how was history interpreted. so this 300 movie is kinda modern Alexander The Great movie.
