well what im doing right now is comparing my music with labels themes and trying to find similar relations between my music and the labels main music goals. can you compare it with any other artists or labels? if so that will help you narrow your choices down, and if not, then send it to the most freeform labels you can think of. just some thoughts. also, would you be interested in posting some of those tracks on the ftp site so we can maybe help a little further? cheers and good luck, pece/p

after the whole discussion on the board, about mp3´s and loosing it all, i really thought much about putting my latest tracks on the ftp.

i cannot decide between its cool, because of people are gettin into the stuff i make, or its shite because of some people wouldn´t buy it, because they have it as mp3...

I had my best tracks on the ftp for around 24 hours when the ftp was new, but i deleted the folder, because i was so irresolute about that all........................sho uld i again

good to know that pille! :)

yeah i think its a good way with the 10s samples, but you know....all the sounds are cool in the 10, but the rest of the track, the whole arrangement sucks...

i think i will do it again with 20 seconds or 30...thats enough to check also out some breaks and tricks

gameboy: send e-mail to witch label whatever you like and ask them if they are intressted in a demo.. that´s the easiest way i guess.

Hi

Just a small note to let peeps know I'm in the process of setting up a website to showcase unsigned folk who are somewhat unsure as what to do with their music as I already have quite a few friends based around my home town & beyond who are in this position and produce to a good standard.

Albeit taking a little longer than i'd hoped....A website should be up and running in the next few weeks.

If you feel you might benefit from this ressource, please do not hesitate in contacting me as I always believe "the more, the merrier!"

why you ask the people here???
send it to all labels you like! i think it's impossible too produce trax for labels you like and not for label nobody knows.
gameboy my friend why you don't give your songs ibi again?
when you don't wants to produce for his label he can give it some other people. ibi is a really good man and i think he do it for you.
maybe he give it to toby, justin or bob. try it!!!

what kind of music you made? i have a good friend who searching for good producers, but he made groovy jazzy house / techno.
the name of the label is spontan musik - mainz / germany
where you coming from? germany or england?
write me an privat e-mail for more infos!

Recloose worked in a deli/sandwich shop and slipped it into his order...

thats great, recloose is the man! i wouldnt think he'd have any problem. when i send off soon, im going to make an 8-track and send a portable 8-track player with rca outputs wrapped in a box with those balls you can play in a mac-donalds. you know the multicolored ones that are big as shit. they open the box and say what the fuck? ill also send a cd too, shit whille im at it a tape also. i dont know ill have fun with it.
