You can still buy them, but only on this site, which I can recommend, bought a shit load of sweets from them a while back, rotted my mouth out.

you can still get them, though mainly in seaside resorts and traditional sweetshops. they seem the have passed into the public domain these days, though, like pink and white nougat and honeycomb bars. i got on in brighton earlier in the year, as it happens, and i have to say i was disappointed. it wasn't half as good as i remember, and eating it was literally a painful experience. it's like biting into concrete

What a great thread! I love old sweets. Why was it though that when you went to get a 20p mixture you always fell for the cherry lips?--taste like perfume and stick to your teeth like concrete.

I must abstain from eating anything chewy.

Broke a filling on a Curly Wurly a couple of weeks ago...

ditto but with a wine gum. Gotta go to the dentist a week on Thursday and have A WHOLE TOOTH REMOVED.

ANYONE WHO'S INTERESTED IN THIS THREAD SHOULD GO AND SEE THEIR DENTIST NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

I spent well over a grand having my teeth fixed up last year.

The last trip to the dentist cost me 70 notes....Got another one coming up on Friday that is gonna cost 40...

I love going to the dentist.
