it doesn't bother me... as long as i don't have to wear strange dresses!
I prefer to watch it from a certain distance

no, as I have seen too much everytime I went out for the night in the dupont area of washington dc.
I've seen enough queens to last a lifetime. :!

i also hate carneval. it's only meaning seems to be to get old people drunk and easy enough to flirt with anyone available. for that reason we also call it 'Resteficken'. a bit like loveparade isn't it?
anyway a strange think happend to me last friday night concerning this topic. i just returned home and played a bit of vice city when the doorbell rang around 2:30 AM. i pressed the button to open the housedoor and in came this person, moving slowly and breathing hard. i thought it was someone who needed help, car accident or something. but when i switched on the light i got it clear. it was a woman in middle age so incredibly drunk, she seemed like a zombie really. her skin was like green grey and she smelled like a broken booze-tank. i asked her why she had rang our bell but she was just murmuring something like 'nschuldjung' and climbed up the stairs to ring someone out of bed she was familiar with. i bet she had a bit of headache the next day.
