I watched the remake of the itallian job a few weeks ago as it was on tv...
There was some gold, some minis, and some traffic light stuff, but, without their use of the same title, you would have not realised it was supposed to be the same film.
It seems that the re-use of titles is little more than a shallow marketing ploy.

That is shocking......how can you remake such a film...it's like someone trying to remake Physcho.
Goonies was the death of my childhood...when I left the theatre in 1985 I realised that adventures like that were bullshit and life wopuld never match up to a water slide to one eyed willie.

in todays version one of the kids getting kidnapped calls the cops on a cell phone and the movie ends 15 minutes later
