Just wondering what those of you who get spam use to filter it out?
I know not evreyone gets it, and some probbaly have work addresses that are filtered anyway. Im also not interested in advice on where to put or not put my email address about - simply what filtering software you use.
Bayesian filters have been made ineffective by the new breed of image spam. Currently i use a combination of bayesian filtering (for text) and a simple image filter rule, but its not ideal. Ive been reading on OCR analysis, and then sybsequentb bayesian analysis, but all the solutions seem to be *nix based, and i dont hugely want the bother of running my own mail server if i can help it.
My client is outlook (not express)
Any comments / suggestions?

I'd suggest moving from Outlook to Thunderbird which has a decent spamfilter built in. The recent "image spam" stuff is fooling it a little.. but it's mainly on top of it. I use it at home.
At work, I use TheBat (some weird but good email client) and spambayes as my filter. I've not trained it for months and so it's got really shit. I'm seriously considering going Thunderbird here at work too.. despite the fact that it'll prolly take me a couple of hours to get everything across, configured and working.
The advantage of the Thunderbird approach is that the "Junk/Unjunk" button is right there in your mail reader.. so the act of sorting the misses or false positives (very rare) trains your filter.
