Anyone do any heavy duty font management under OS X.
I was recommended that I use Extensis Suitcase X1, but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to load all my fonts. I've got a bunch of fonts that it keeps flagging up as orphaned PS screens - in spite of the fact that I have all the components for the font.
Then when I load the same font up in Font Book it works fine.
Have I been sold a red herring - should I just carry on using Font Book? Any tips from anyone?

Font Doctor should sort it and you'll need Suitcase X11 for OSX 10.4.8 - I have a bunch of stuff at the studio to sort you out Ian. Hit me up on the email.

adobe type manager works wonders for me, also if you have network storgae such as netapp or nas/san works great.

Extensis and Font doctor all the way. Font doctor doesn't always detect every error in fonts though...

yeah i just can read one post pro window (and i m sitting at the new 30" mac screen lol) coz the space between texts is huge... some prob with a helvetica on mine and i don't find the bugger . but i must say in suitcase : things are a bit handier now that you can drag folders into the mainfolders. for me this is easy coz i got more jobs pro costumer and so i can finaly make a folder per client and in that a jobfontfolder
