OK I know there've been some good ones on here already, and as I mentioned on a previous rave tales thread, a mate and I are working on a project to try and collect loads of such stories together, see if we can piece together a picture of how things started, grew and changed in different areas of Britain. There's been so much written about the big DJs, Haciende, Shoom, Ibiza etc etc etc, but nobody's really told the story of the characters, nutjobs and strange locals who made up - and still make up - the scene.
To that end we've set up www.whistleposse.com - a members only forum just for sharing rave nostalgic tales and thoughts. We'd love to hear from any of you - just about UK raves/clubs at the moment, though, as we could be swamped with material otherwise.
