i think i'd probably like to live somewhere in south east asia, but on a more realistic tip i think i'll live out my dotage in the scottish highlands, not sure which bit though.

Cornwall would be a nice place to live. Going down to visit my mate a few weeks ago was brilliant. I would spend every single night on the beach, I reckon. The only problem is that it is so far from anywhere.

Would like to retire to the North of France, though, the pace of life suits me perfectly.

lol

i have no idea where. probably somewhere warm, but not too hot.

funnily enough on the way to drop my mate off at his house after work today, we drove past this really old dude trying to cross the busy main road. My mate turns to me and says, "fuck, it's going to be really shite being old"! it was pretty funny!

Too many cokeheads in the UK full stop :(
I'd like to stay right were I am I think. I want to be one of those 100 year olds who goes x country skiing.

Paris or New York. Somewhere I can walk and go to museums and people watch. Retirement sounds too grim, though. I don't think I'll ever retire.

Just hope when I'm in my dotage that I'm sane, can walk and have somewhere full of books and records in a neighbourhood where I'm not going to get mugged when I go to the shop to get my petfood and bottle of milk stout. Everything else is frippery.

Yeah I agree really. Somewhere warm does make an incredible difference to old joints and bones though.

Don't ever say that out loud where you currently live, Grobs. The locals don't appreciate that kind of crazy talk.

Don't know really, I haven't been to enough places to make an informed opinion...I think I would like somewhere remote though, where I didn't have to answer to anyone about whether I had bothered getting dressed or not. Somewhere with space, but frequently surrounded by my children and grandchildren. As long as I get to live out my days with P, it doesn't matter where I am. Unless we're both in prison or something, that would suck.

i wanna live in the highlands in a little house built into a cliff in a forest beside a lake.

i'd live there with a few cats making weird music, and i'd like to have my own olive grove, but it would be too damn cold. : (

maybe global warming will help me out.

morrocco?
it reeks like...
but it's healthy confusing in a medina, much winding paths and bizzare doors...
loads o hash...
inconsistant islamic rules...
men of all ages holding hands and kissing in a plutonic mannor...
camels...
random acts of violence by men who look like tom selleck...

i should work for the tourist board

I want to live near a fresh water lake, near a forest. I want to be able to swim every day and go to sauna. I'm going to live a solar-powered musical life. Probably in Lapland.
