im sure you brits had very differnt school lunches from us americans....i remeber pizza ,and more pizza, and more pizza. since ive been a vege my whole life, it was hard at school. but the cheese pizza was good, salad, and other slop oddities. i always made my own lunch. and the kids used to laugh at me for drinking soy and rice.

Do you mean the reconstitued ribs/grillsteak type things covered in breadcrumbs? They seem familiar, although I was a bit of a packed lunch type myself.

I'm indifferent to what they were called. I remember having these things forced on me at home whilst my folks went back to Uni during my teenage years. It was sorta stick these in the oven for 20 mins and voila. I hated them after a while, but it was that or starve!
Haha, the only peeps I know that were on school dinners everyday were the broken home kids.

I take my step-daughter into the breakfast club at her school. I think they get a bowl of cereals and some fruit and allows me and Tracy to get to work on time (you can drop them off 45 mins before school starts).

The joke was that I used to think they got a better deal getting a hot meal guarenteed everyday. You used to see the shit I got served as a packed lunch and you would see why!

nearly everything i had at secondary school was covered in breadcrumbs - the contents were always either a worryingly undercooked looking pink or a repulsive grey. the food was shocking at our school - i imagine it was more shocking than most.
i had a packed lunch at primary school - mostly chicken sandwiches smothered with salad cream, with perhaps an apple, crisps and a capri sun (btw,i'm now addicted to strawberry flavour capri suns - over the last fortnight i've been drinking about 8 a day)

they were called turkey bread sticks i think, but "choppie" is good. . i think they were basically mashed up giblets moulded into the shape of a leg. i used to eat them with hemispheres of mash followed by funny mouse things with jelly tots on.

Yes! Up here in Scotland, "having your tea" is eating your dinner as well. The colluquialisms can run rampant sometimes!!

N'ah mate. It was just a joke that got outta hand a few years ago. I don't play darts and I don't have a kilt!
Here is a picture of me from our Rudiman gig in Nov. I guess someone I didn't like must have came in. Right in the middle of my Tommy Cooper impression!

There are similarities to the darts guy, although thankfully less as I've got older

Absolutely!! That's why I still find it amusing to this day. I actually do watch the world championchips every January when they're on the telly. It isn't that I consider darts a quality sport, it is the people in the crowd and the commentary that really make it for me. Yes, I am a bit odd that way.
Thanks!! I'll try and inform you of any mixes or whatever that I can let you listen to. I dare say they might be a bit far to send, but you never know!!

Indeed, there are a few here. I last seen Claude just before Christmas. He doesn't stay too far away from me, but it was at a friend's night I hooked up with him. A lot of the time you actually see less of a person the closer they are to you!!
