I've loved the book for 30 odd years. First read while in the infants in the early 70's. I quite often read it to my son. And he loves it too.

It was my favourite book when i was a kid. My list was this as top, followed by Tom and the night kitchen, Not now Bernard and Angry Arthur. Quality.
