Off to Arran

I'm off to the Isle of Arran on Saturday for a trip, mrs pinapples hasnt ever been before so it should be great. I haven't been for ages has anyone got any tips of a good place to stay/things to see? I remember it being pretty small and being really green and beautiful . . . I hope it doesn't rain too much.

i've been to those very standing stones, still got loads of drawings of them. there's also bunch of really remote standing stones too, feels weird standing in the centre of the circle. in fact there's fuckin loads of standing stones on Arran.

cheers goonie, sadly no bikes but that does look well fun. I must remember to go to the infamous Arran Cheese Shop and get some stinkin' cheeses. I just heard to day that last week on the ferry from Adrossan there was a 'terrror alert', this consisted of some dumb fucker overhearing some asians 'talking about terrorism', afeard that the ferry was to be turned into some sort of floating inferno hijacked and aimed straight at Largs (!!) or some such nonsense everyone had to be searched within an inch of their lives.
