What is the strangest thing u have ever eaten?

For me...daffodil flowers when i was still a babe.

But I also eat fuschia fruit, which tastes like a mild black cherry, and chive flowers....

I was playing a board game called 'farming' which involves running your own farm for a year and unfortunately takes roughly the same amount of time...The thing is though, once you have started something you have to finish it, so I ate the dice. I have since then eaten dice on a few other occasions and also cards. I also put the monopoly car in a very private place to stop an argument about who would use it.

you crack open the top, put some salt on the eye of the bird then drink the eye. after that you crack the egg some more and the little bird sort of spills into your mouth and you suck it down.

It's not really that strange to me, but I used to eat a West Indian dish called "Souce" -

This can be made with either Ox tongue, pigs trotters or chicken feet.
It's done in a pressure cooker, then seasoned up with onions, hot pepper sauce and cucumbers.

Shark-meat totally rocks - another West Indian dish (well, Trinidad to be specific) called Shark & Bake is off the scale....

I used to love sprinkling an original oxo cube over either pizza or bacon sandwiches - Don't do that anymore, but I used to think it rocked....

Anyway, if I think of anything else, I'll be sure to add it

I tried that souce stuff when I lived in brixton, my mates mum used to cook all sorts of mad shit like that. loads of saltfish and callaloo and trotters and loads of those hot peppers, damn those peppers are hot, used to make my eyes water.

ouch! that happened to my sister's now ex-boyfriend...he spent the entire dinner party in the bath...I think he was too shy to just plonk his willy in a tumbler, and carry on...but ever since then he wore rubber gloves to prepare chillies.

a little trick to stop too much chilli coming off on your hands whilst preparing them, is to freeze them first. they are then very easy to slice finely, and the chilli-ness doesn't come off much, if at all on your hands.
